Listen to the call to come back to your body. What truth do you need to speak?

The first temple you must tend to is your own Spirit.

A powerful portrait of a lion representing the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet, symbolising the tranformative and empowering energy of remote Seichim Reiki sessions offered by Tides of Spirit.

Seichim (pronounced say-sheem) reiki originates from Ancient Egypt. It speaks of unconditional love and embodiment within our own self. This energy strives to reactivate a remembrance deep within you that is held in your bones of the divine feminine and the divine masculine- the magic that exists within the layers of your skin. How do you want to honour yourself in this life and how do you want others to treat you? Ask yourself how are you being held in your life currently & what areas can you look at that you want to walk away from.

Sekhmet, an Egyptian Goddess depicted with the head of a Lionness and the body of a human will devour that which you are ready to release. Sekmet asks you now to step into your power and reclaim your birth right to live a life you desire and deserve.

Sekhmet had the most statues dedicated to her than any other deity in Ancient Egypt. Today she reminds us of our ability to hold gentle, tender care for ones self but also the ability to stand strong as the warrior and reclaim the respect and strength of who we are and what we are here to do on this earth. Do you feel you need to be everything to everyone? This is extremely hard to sustain and will only dim your own light more and more. Now it’s time to take action and step into the Temple of Seichim.

Waves wonder

Yonder beyond the veil

Whisper gently, softly

Threads encasing amongst the heart

Whisper, softly

Hush

With the breeze basking down from thy crown

Hush, the waves beneath.

-A message I received from Sekhmet during my initiation

In 1980 a man called Patrick Zeigler spent a night in the Great Pyramid in Giza. He received an initiation into an energy form which the Egyptians called ‘the power of powers’. These teachings first became known as Sekhem and later Seichim. Now Patrick teaches Sekhem-All Love. ‍

What to Expect in a Session

An ancient Egyptian wall painting depicting a deity performing a healing act on a person, symbolising the historical traditions and energetic roots of the Seichim Reiki sessions offered remotely by Tides of Spirit.
  • During a Seichim session, I will create an altar uniquely for you at the beginning and then call in the deities associated with Seichim reiki including Sekhmet, Bastet, Aset and Ma’at.

  • Your soul and higher self will lead how the session will evolve.

  • Seichim is about holding space for you so your soul can remember what it’s here to do. To nurture your inner God/Goddess and show up as your unapologetic self in this realm. It is about slowing down to tend to our nervous system and bodies.

  • Seichim wants us to hold love in our hearts, not hatred, anger, or resentment. These lower vibrations do not feed a spirit but over time try to destroy your true essence. We want to feel joy and love and exuberance in this life.

  • The practice is fluid, it is ultimately guided by your energy and where you want me to go. I will look at what needs help in being released and what wants to be birthed & renewed. What flame needs to be lit in moving forward in your life.

Seichim asks who do you want to be in this life?

  • How do you want to show up for yourself and others and will you give yourself some space to send some loving care your way, to slow down, to rest and renew in order to move forward.

  • There is no hurry, there is no quick fix, no magic spell but just deep trust in the Egyptian deities to guide you on your journey and empower you to show up exactly as you’re meant to be in your life.

    Tender, loving care for thyself.

Ancient Egypt was known as Kemet, meaning ‘the black land’ due to the fertile dark soil deposited along the Nile River.

Seichim will send love to your younger self. Our little self does not disappear in adulthood. We must honour them too.

Seichim honours the four elements; earth, air, fire & water. There is a need to balance the elements within our body. If we have too much fire we will burn out, if we have too much water we will become exhausted. Balance is harmony.

Aset, also known as Isis was the protector of children and healing. She was the Goddess of rebirth, fertility and life.

It is believed Mother Mary & Mary Magdelene were priestesses of Aset.

She was seen as the Great Mother of creation and the master of life force energy. Beyond her role as mother, she was celebrated as a powerful magician who possessed deep knowledge of healing and protective spells.

Ma’at was the Goddess of truth, justice, balance and integrity. Ancient Egyptians lived according to the law of Ma’at.

People looked to Ma’at on how they should live their life.

In the temples, Ma’at would have a ceremony of weighing your heart after you died against an ostrich feather on a scales. This determined how you would be buried. The question was did your heart weigh as light as a feather, proving you lived a heart-led path.

It is now time to honour your womb and your body.

You will see online there is Isis Seichim, Seichem, Sekhem, SKHM, Quan Yin Seichim, Seichim and Sekhem-all love. It is all the same energy that Patrick Zeigler birthed into the world from 1980 but due to different teachers, each has put their own mark on it and have put their own emphasis on different aspects of the energy.

Trust what form you are guided towards and whom your teacher and space holder will be.

A statue of the Egyptian goddess Bastet, symbolising the protective and feminine energies integrated into Tides of Spirit Seichim Reiki sessions.

Bastet was an Ancient Egyptian Cat Goddess, seen as having a female body with the head of a cat. She was the patron of mothers, healers and the protector of the home, women, children and cats. Bastet promotes fertility and aids in childbirth.

She was seen as a psychopomp, a deity that guided the dead to the afterlife.

She asks us to honour our own sensuality. What brings joy to your life? What lights you up?

Bastet asks us to express and create. What are you birthing?

This is not just birthing life into the world but what we want to create, our passions, our projects-what legacy do we want to leave behind?

It is time to invest in yourself now. To show up just for you. To acknowledge your worth, power & strength.

Pour in self- love, self-acceptance, self- forgiveness & self- compassion.

We do not just carry the stories from our own life but those of our ancestors and all those who have walked this earth before us.

Honour them within you now.
